Have been watching an interview of Tom Nichols just now. He encapsulated the behaviors of Hegseth et al. as fear and insecurity. Fear of “the Boss”, insecurity because of being unqualified. I agree, but would add that Hegseth’s history adds context to his behavior.

Even with negative poll numbers, I still cringe at the results. To me, the high 30s for the awful reconciliation bill is indicative of how screwed up our society is. In the end, I have little faith in the current state of polling.

I saw a small part of that briefing by Hegseth. A FOX Entertainment News reporter asked Hegseth a seemingly important question, Hegseth tore into her and said something to the effect ‘You’re the worst’.

She tore back to him that she took issue with his statement towards her. We all know Hegseth was a weekend TV personality, not particularly liked before he went to perform on ‘The Real Cabinet of the White House’ shit show.

I wouldn’t be surprised, that reporter is in the process of digging up so much dirt on Hegseth, compiling it and display it on their Fake News Channel. A bottle of Whiskey and a tub of popcorn would go well with that series. My humble opinion.
