as we started to end the day, i wanted another food on a stick, Spicy fried chicken. it was so good and a perfect little snack. sometimes you just want some hot chicken you can eat on your walk
Meat on a stick has been humanity's greatest culinary innovations.
we ended our day with our final featured food item that had been hyped up to us quite a bit. The Sweet Squeakers. Cheese curds fried in funnelcake dough with lemon whipped cream and berry sauce. thats a lot of layers of extra sweetness, some people might say too many. i am one of those people
final rankings of foods 1. Hula Kalua Pork 2. Bison Meatballs 3. hot chicken on a stick + cheese curds 4. pronto pup + corn 5. sweet squeakers
sweet squeakers reputation will never recover from this
if they sold them as just cheese curds in funnel cake batter I would put them at 2 i stg
as us jews say, dayenu, it would have been enough. cheese curds fried in funnel cake dough, Dayenu. it would have been enough with a scoop of lemon whipped cream, Dayenu. it would have been enough. with berry sauce, maybe it was too much.
Sometimes it's too many things
I'd eat it
oh this looks so fucking good though
the first few were great, but the batter got wet and soggy and after a few minutes it was just too much.
ooooof okay yeah it needs to be crisp or else
I am jealous.
Nice, some food critic-posting! I’d also try that chicken.
Id eat it
Id definitely eat it
oh my god this looks so good
it was delicious
Wouldn’t that be cannibalism?
thank you for adequately describing the pronto pup. i've seen people call it "a corn dog but with a flour base" and that doesn't do justice to the fact that it's wrapped in pancake
its more than just a flour base , it's a pancake! how can you not see that!
WANT PANCAKES
Id eat it
As a fellow midwesterner/chicagoan who loves a corn dog, I’m honestly not sure I could pick one out of a blind taste test 100% of the time. But, we trekked up to the fair yesterday and, when in St. Paul as they say! Enjoyed the pickle pizza more than I thought I would as well!
OH MAN i had one of these once and it’s such a good concept
"I showed you my pronto pup pls respond"
