I’ve found out more about this ute! It’s a custom (chopped out of a dodge sedan) that’s profiled on a page of a business that does kits for ute-ifying everything from Jettas to Chargers! It looked so clean in person I didn’t think it was a chop!
Also I think it’s cool that a disabled person was driving this and also likely did the conversion too💚
* I'm sorry youtu.be/K6qGwmXZtsE?...
I regret complaining about the ute-boys hooning around where I live, for now they have all become American "truck" men.
OMG calling a charger a “sedan” - show me the lie though, such underwhelming “muscle”
lol my bad—I guess I see 4 doors and just label it a sedan but yeah this statement would probably get me ejected from some car meets 😂🥲
No I love it - I rented chargers (4 door!) on a couple of trips and was really surprised how … uninspiring they are to drive. Very much a sedan!
appropriate that it's yellow and black because it's a beeeeee-ute
Hard to believe ancient relatives of these things once roamed our lands like automotive dinosaurs. I don't miss them at all (if one needs a cargo bed & hauling ability, buy a pickup truck), but I've read that both Ford and Chevy have plans to reintroduce new versions.
Tbh I love them💚💚 If a new version of el caminos, like utes, catch on here and more people trade driving giant pavement princess pickup trucks as their daily drivers for weird little half-car half-pickups I’d be fine with that. It would at least give pedestrians and smaller cars a fighting chance.
American drivers being, well, American drivers, I doubt many would swap. I've never understood using full-size HD pickups for daily (esp. urban) commutes and not a hauling/towing tool, but many do just that. They must love burning money ($$$ price + fuel costs). Did you like the old Subaru BRATs?
Rarely see them in Australia anymore
is this the baby of a subaru brat and an el camino?
Did you say Ute? (This gag only works if it sounds like yout)
Wow. That’s pretty cool.
