Brake dust is really nasty stuff. As a proportion of environmental pollutants it’s also much smaller than tire dust. Anyway, none of what I said is an argument against electric vehicles, just an argument against massively heavy EVs that have been designed that way for all the wrong reasons.
However I often see tire dust as an argument against EVs rather than any push for lighter vehicles. In recent years there have been inventions to capture some of the tire & brake dust. I still think we should push for lighter vehicles but I do think eventually these will be mainstream even mandated
