Anyone have recommendations for a fun or funny show I can put on while working on something tedious? Doesn’t have to be comedy but can’t involve women or children getting hurt/murdered and I’d also like to avoid anything topical/political or historical/historical fiction. And, the weirder the better
I just watched Entitled on Netflix recently. Super weird and funny.
I'd think much of Adult Swim would be suitable for this. Right off the bat I'd suggest Aqua Teen Hunger Force to meet your weird quotient, or Sealab 2021.

I second Taskmaster. There are 19 seasons on YouTube, plus the AUS, NZ, & Kids versions. If you speak Norwegian, there are clips of their version also on YT (Kongen Befaler). It is definitely weird & funny.
if you’re looking for absurdity, guy montgomery’s guy mont spelling bee and the web series “who wants to win a penis pump” are both great
between this and fisk, you’re really benefitting from asking this when the aussies are awake
Fisk on Netflix is very fun.
While Fisk is kooky and hilarious, North of North (also Netflix) is also very funny but also sweet, tho does not fit the weird part of your ask.
Community. Sometime in series two it gets really weird, but once your brain clicks with it, it’s very funny.

Rewatched it recently with my 16 year old, it has aged perfectly. Start with series 2, series 1 wasn't as good.
Agree, one of them was more facial and less verbal. When I was in oz in the early 90s, the whole hostel would pause and watch it weekly. Great cultural experience!
