Everyone's talking about what cons they're going to attend and stuff but for the past few years I've had like....zero interest in attending any. I dunno, they were fun when I went to my first few but everything's so expensive and there's entirely too many people at them these days. Not for me.
First con was FurTheMore 2017 and that was amazing, as was FurTheMore 2018 and both FursonaCon 2018 and 2019. Did the final BronyCon in 2019 too and that was awesome. FurTheMore 2019 knocked a lot of my interest in cons out, but that was entirely because of the people I went with. Since 2019? Meh.
Admittedly I'm going again only to see friends I can't normally see. Like, if not for the friends I might not be con hopping again
Yee, I definitely get that. I feel like going to see friends would be the only thing that would get me to go to one again. Otherwise, I don't really wanna blow $600+ to go drink in a hotel packed with 9,000 people for a weekend.
