Also consider the number of casualties and deaths on the battlefield that Ukraine suffered versus the number of Russian casualties and deaths. Although the numbers are somewhat nebulous I think at least 3 to 1 ratio in favor of Ukraine. Man for man they have kicked Russia’s ass in every case.
I was in Mariupol during the siege, where we were outnumbered about 15 to 1. Having personally experienced russian battle tactics, I seriously doubt 3 to 1 is an unrealistic ratio. The only reason the city fell is because we ran out of ammo.
