The man I am referring to is Juan-Carlos Lopez-Gomez. He was arrested by ICE and put on a 48 hour hold. Even after showing his birth certificate the judge who heard his case said she could not over ride the ICE hold. Article in CNN www.cnn.com/2025/04/17/u...

That's a really shocking case. Everyone dealing with him seems to agree he was a US citizen, here legally, but found their hands tied because of the ICE hold.
