A Haines guide died last week during a non-work-related rafting trip on the Blanchard and Tatshenshini Rivers.

Sad news. I visited the Tat last summer but we put in at Dalton Post, YK below the Blanchard section. Blanchard must be extremely stout to claim the life of an experienced raft guide.
