Being removed from a list should not depend on a moderation team (we all know how this ends from Twitter). If I feel uncomfortable being on a list, blocking the list owner by myself must be the way of being removed from that list.

Yes, you can't see it, but the list can still be used against you. Imagine a MAGA in disguise starts a blocking list with some MAGA chuds on it, promotes this list as such among democratic people as a blocking list and all of a sudden he changes his policies and puts the democratics on the list.

The guy blocks now the list members, which now no longer have access to this abusive list. And now the democratics, who still use the "MAGA blocking list" are blocking each other with no means of being removed.
