Warm week here, #tulips are mostly at an end. I love bulb #flowers, one of the nicest parts of #spring cc @edowatercolourart.bsky.social @artjen-watercolors.bsky.social @drjoostheystek.bsky.social @agnesgeets.bsky.social @pamjohns.bsky.social @watercoloursam.bsky.social @bakerart.bsky.social etc

Large white tulip with pink and yellow tinged petals, very wide open, near end of its bloom. Seen in planter box in urban setting, with red, white and yellow flowers plus green foliage surrounding. Photo by Ellen Friedman

What showy blooms! And so cool to have them in your own garden. I just depend on the gardening skills of others and hope I get a glimpse. 😄 I think tulips are wonderful

Yes, tulips are nice simple flowers. Nature, as in watercolour, works best with simplicity

What lovely, subtle range of color in this. A very beautiful photo. Dry here, too, but that seems to be the "new normal" for us. Alas.

Not so warm here, but mostly dry. (Farmers are going to start complaining though because it rains not enough, which we normally have now)

I had heard just a day ago about how dry it is through parts of Europe. That's unfortunate: for crops plus sets you up for fire danger 😕 I hope reasonable amount of rain comes soon

We don't have so much green where I live that is vulnerable to cause big fires. There is moorland just in some parts of the country. Only the vegetables and potatoes (ouch, our fries!) will be more expensive.

Well that is good news about fire risk. I hope you've been finding time to paint, although I know with work + family events that may be difficult
