Thank you, James. What a lovely thing to say (and the Escoda Perla brushes are wonderful)

Bless you. They are epic. Our credit cards will for ever continue to whimper. π€£
@micheleclamp.com quickly reminded me that itβs the escoda reserva kolinsky tajmyr sable is the one that makes the credit card really whimper. Michele is a big fan of all escoda brushes. And Christmas presents. And birthday presents. :-)
I have not tried their kolinsky sable. Good sable brushes really are the best. The few I have are from Winsor & Newton Series 7 - superb. 1/
I know sable is preferred, but I've tried over last several yrs to avoid (mostly) natural fiber & tried the synthetic. It's so different, much stiffer & carries less water. But for synthetic, I do love the Escoda Perla 2/
Even synthetic Escoda can make my credit card whimper, so I appreciate both the joy & pain you and your wife experience with sable ones π But life is short and good brushes should be enjoyed! Thanks again for your encouraging comments 3/3
You've reignited my desire for a W&N series 7 again. Charles Reid used to swear by them and if they're good enough for him.... π
And all #Escoda brushes are great. Beautiful points on them.
Yes, exactly. Amazingly rare thing, I've found
