Thank you Ellen. Seem to survive in spite of me š¤£
It's such a lovely painting. I love the way it varies from sharp focus to soft
I have special orchid (special because it was my mom's) that I leave at neighbor's house if I've away a long time. It seems to thrive there, so I imagine it's disappointed when it comes back home to my chaotic care 𤪠I've had it 21 yrs, bloomed ever yr until recently 1/
Finally got brave enough to repot it last fall. Yikes. Split into 2 pots: one is holding on but no blooms so far. Then other is dying off, spike by spike. As they say "I shoulda left well enuff alone!" š³ 2/2
Iām never diligent enough with my plants. Iām desperately trying to revive a dried up mint from outside my front door. I thought they were pretty indestructible but seems not š¤¦āāļø
I think we are sisters of the not-so-green-thumb š Remember maidenhair fern of mine - you did such a beautiful painting?(a treasure for us) It was 1 of 2. Other died back when we were travelling last fall. I kept watering dead pot & voila! two tiny leaves appeared. I kept trying to revive it 1/
Trying for months: 2 leaves. And then they died back 𤷠First one still looks great. But if it goes, I still have your painting! š 2/2
I do remember- well done for the revival š
