Our neighbor here in town has chickens. I know because I hear them. And one big one got out and was running up the street. We calmed it down until her little boy could come collect his pet.

You know, I really can't remember. I know the goat (it was a young goat) escaped from my neighbors' house, but I can't remember what it was doing there. But it escaped, and we chased it down the street and into my landlord's backyard. 1/

I seem to remember Bruce and Betsy (the neighbors) having a friend who worked with animals, maybe at a zoo or something, and that was why the goat was visiting. But he was successfully wrangled and returned to wherever he was before. Goats are nimble. 2/2

Goats are nimble. For goats, gravity is an occasional thing. I love that the neighbors' names were Bruce & Betsy. I hope the goat was named Bea. Or Beau. Good story 👍
