That's a nice travel set! I love W&N pigments. I started with slightly smaller Cotman set. Cotman is WN student grade and very good. I also like how much mixing area this one has. The hydrangeas should make a very nice subject for a still life

"Beginneryness" is a suberb word. I've dabbled at painting a bit longer than you but still lots of beginneritude in my approach, too, especially as I jump from one medium or topic to another. But it's such fun!
