Not the same as these guys, but honorable mentions: Obama drones killed 3,797 people, 324 civilians - points for difficulty - did this and received Nobel Peace Prize. Bush Sr. killed tens of thousands of civilians abroad while waging painful, ineffectual war on drugs at home - a two front atrocity.

I would agree. It may also include deaths we've only begun to wonder about. But, for SCALE and scope, I will give Bloodamir the dubious distinction. Assad's killing fields may prove a challenge to belief.
