And when people say we need to move to Mars to save the human race from a meteor, I laugh. The cost to populate Mars would be astronomical, even if possible. That money would be better spent on asteroid intercept technology.

Yes also it would be easier to restart life on earth after its complete annihilation than to start something on mars. It would be easier here after a nuclear apocalypse. Plus the whole gravity thing means we can’t eat or grow properly on mars
