They literally only respect their own god because he's presented as a powerful, spiteful mf. If God were a meek pacifist who doesn't send those who defy him to Hell, most Evangelicals would be the exact same breed of turbo-violent anti-Christians they accuse pretty much all non-Christians of being.

Yes, especially the SBC. Here in the Texas/ N. Louisiana area, they are very Anti-Catholic. The only thing they have in common is the anti abortion views.
