He was a college kid who dropped out on Dec. 8 1941, with 67 fraternity brothers. 25 didn’t come home. He spoke to my brother before he shipped out to Vietnam in 1971 right after he graduated from the same college. I would ask him about it: he would usually stare quietly into space remembering.
