It's funny seeing leftists saying stuff like "I don't think billionaires should exist but I'd vote for Pritzker" while centrists repeatedly try to claim we demand "a perfect candidate." Feels like the centrists want Newsom because he sucks on trans rights, Gaza, etc and they agree with him 100%.
Pritzker grew up with that money and didn't turn into a total bastard, and I think that says a lot about his character.
that's not the point, though. the point is that people with principles are saying "we are willing to make a compromise" and a lot of people are saying "you just have to accept what we want and call that a compromise"
Oh yeah. And I absolutely agree with that point. Pritzker is a great example of a reasonable compromise.
I voted for Preckwinkle when she ran against him in 2019, but I sure as hell voted for Pritzker when he was running for re-election.
