I just want to know, where are the students protesting on college campuses now? Where are the folks who, couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Kamala bc of her being part of the Biden administration? Funny how quiet they are now.

They are afraid to protest now because they know what Dump can do to them. They only had the ballz to do it when we were a Democracy still, and we had decent humans in charge, not 👹(s).
Even last year they weren't treated well, with congress interfering in university administrations as retaliation for students' public assembly & free speech.
Because they were all just pawns to propaganda.
If you recall, the previous administration thought it was a good idea to call protesters antisemitic terrorists and call out the stormtroopers. Campuses have basically made it illegal to protest this. 🤷♂️
The Biden administration was maligning and shutting down those protests all along. The media joined in—calling all of it antisemitic. Students were suspended and expelled and blackballed. Cops arrested them and pushed them out. The protests were suppressed at every level—it’s not that easy.
And some of them are still dealing with the consequences of the initial round of protests (lawsuits, etc.).
Sorry but you don’t cut off your nose to spite your face. They chose to protest then, and rile up the negative rhetoric against Kamala, the one and only candidate who actually gave a 💩 about their plight. They encouraged others to not vote for her, and now we have someone 💯 worst!
I mean, there's an active campaign to silence them: abcnews.go.com/Politics/tru...
This song is called "If Only Someone Had Told Them The Stove Was Hot", please enjoy.
But has the government silenced them? Or have they given up because now it might cost them some jail time? And I'm referring to citizens, not the students here, who could be deported.
But there are many student protestors are already in jail or in the midst of defending themselves in the courts. That's certainly taking a lot of wind out the sails of protest efforts—they are forbidden or physically prevented from returning to campus. How can they continue to protest?
These people don’t actually want protests to happen, because they cheered as Biden and other dems punished them and made it more difficult to protest by muddying the waters on antisemitism for months.
Also, there still are some protestors on campuses even in the midst of all this: www.wkar.org/wkar-news/20...
It's almost like all these people asking where the protests are don't actually care where the protests are, supported suppressing the protests, and are trying to smear the protesters by claiming they're insincere.
The consequences for the students (who are citizens) aren't (just) jail time, it's expulsion and loss of ability to earn a degree. And less personally, they risk dismantling of their alma mater (loss of federal student aid eligibility for the university, loss of academic freedom for faculty, etc.)
There was a campaign silencing them, people were being arrested & intimidated under Biden & continue to be under Trump. It isn't complicated. Most encamplments were forcibly dismantled.
They aren’t being kept from being interviewed by the news media, like they were doing during the campaign, making it seem as if Kamala would be the same as the felon.
And, agian, there are some still protesting: dailybruin.com/2025/02/05/p...
Without hearing from the pro-Palestinian students, who knows? Are any media outlets even interested in interviewing them? At least one student newspaper is actively trying to shield them by anonymizing them in past stories: www.purdueexponent.org/opinion/edit...
The government did help silence them but furthermore is Project Esther, which puts them at risk. Particularly as the majority of the protestors are Jewish, Muslim, and/or LGBTQIA+. They are targeted for many reasons. But they are still protesting. For Gaza yes but they've been at 50501 & others.
😂
Probably still recovering from the LAPD and NYPD kicking their teeth in.
