Not sure. Awarding a wartime leader like Zelensky the peace prize? He’s fighting a war, not ending one. The Nobel Committee traditionally honors peacebuilders and humanitarian efforts. His candidacy is more fitting once the war ends and he helps secure lasting peace.
This was exactly my feeling. I support and applaud the man as a leader, but maybe not appropriate to nominate him for a peace prize… yet.
If humanitarian efforts can neither stop Putin nor Netanyahu, may be there should be no peace prize at all.
Zelenskyy will end his side of the war the instant Putin leaves Ukraine alone.
