Raz Segal, Stockton University, describes Gaza as a “textbook case of genocide.” Amos Goldberg, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Lee Mordechai, Israel, William Schabas, Canada. I can name other leading genocide scholars who judge that Israel is committing genocide upon request.
”A textbook definition of genocide” Aims at the destruction of a people. Palestinians grow in numbers, they aren’t diminishing, so that fails on the outset. If Israel really was trying to genocide the Palestinians, they wouldn’t warn them before attacking. This does not hold up to scrutiny.
All the scholars I name must have a knowledge of the legal definition of genocide. Maybe better than yours? Do tell us your qualifications to judge! What evidence do you have that the population of Gaza has grown? It is a statement that goes contrary to all good sense.
See the date? 2020! That was a study done before Israel started eliminating Gazans in 2023. Anybody who states that Gaza’s population has grown at the same rate after 2023 as it was growing in 2020 is deliberately playing the fool. We have seen with our own eyes the destruction of Gaza.

Hamas claims Israel has killed 45k Palestinians since October 7th. Subtract 45k from 5.1 million people and it wouldn’t impact the growth of Palestinians. It is a growing population and not a diminishing one.
Conclusion: not a genocide.
