Please be patient with us, the “not surprised” crowd. With each Trump regime, we’ve come to expect the worst people doing the worst things, coverups, complicity, capitulation. Every day there’s something shocking but not surprising. This is where we can express that.
And … Criticizing people over the words used to express the myriad of emotions felt in a bat shit crazy time does not seem helpful.
Just accept the criticism as her authentic feelings (and mine). Maybe, don’t do something which comes across as a humble brag, a subtle put down of the person you are replying to, and an acceptance of the unacceptable.
That is exactly my point - accepting the feelings of others. There is a long road ahead and I don’t see how divisiveness is helpful.
