i know that WWE of late loves to bring back people from the last 20 years for nostalgia pops and to show that "they still have it", but i feel like the WWE main event's average age is getting closer and closer to heroes of wrestling by the month

I guess? I only really kept up with wrestling from reddit and YouTube highlights these days and it's not like they literally post everything. I didn't even know Becky and Nikki bad a match until now.

I don't mind old legends provided they can still go. If anything, what I do mind are them bringing in tons of celebs and influencers. If anything, there's even more currently under the HHH regime. If a certain one called "Lowgoon" Paul vanish from WWE, it would be a massive improvement

i don't necessarily mind old legends coming back (i think edge and christian are entertaining in AEW); it's just that when i look at WWE's main event and see exclusively guys twice as old as the youngest people on the roster, it just feels really lame. get some younger people in there

but it's also a point in AEW's favor that when they do these celebrity crossover matches, they put them on the preshow. cause i do think they have a place in wrestling, but that place is the preshow, or TV, not PPV

Some of them are my age, and believe me when I say very few of us "STILL GOT IT". Hell, most of us don't even remember where we left it.
