Mark Elias is an attorney who’s showing up the electeds by constantly lapping them in effectiveness. They should be passing laws so he doesn’t have to win all those cases. But they aren’t. A good example of how leadership and “currently holding elected office” aren’t even close to the same thing.

I agree. I should have written more, but if you could have heard the sadness with which I said it in my head, you would have understood. I'm glad Mark is fighting, but I'm sad that elected officials do not appear to be waging the battle beside him.
