Out in the farthest reaches of suburbia, I’m at the theatre at 10:00 a.m. to see a 35-year-old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

Jealous of everything but that 'farthest reaches of suburbia' bit. Amazing way to spend a Sunday. Well done, you.
Whenever I venture north of John Laurie/McKnight, I get cranky. North of Beddington, exhausted. North of Stoney Tr.? Fuuuck. When I was at the theatre, I recalled I had a co-worker once upon a time who went to weekend morning shows quite often. I could get used to that, it was dead.
That's a really good scale 😆 And yeah, I use to hit up the theatres at Eau Claire mid/late morning on the weekends and I *loved* it!
Eau Claire - huge loss for inner-city. Ever make it to the Globe?
Agreed -- and oh yah, love the Globe. I don't make it there as frequently as I use to -- but that's a work/me thing, not a them thing (and while it's been an age, I still miss the Uptown too lol)
