In that case, I think the correct move would be to delete the post and create a new one. Many people will only see you saying it was the LGBTQ tag. Expect the games to be indexed after you removed the tag, is not realistic. Anyone would just remove the NSFW and get the game back.
Itchio is getting a lot of hate, and it is an important site for the whole indie scene. It is only fair to delete this and create a new one disclaiming your thoughts and experience about the "adult" tag. Not you suggesting it was the "LGBTQ" tag. I did check, many LGBTQ NFW games are still up.
I've already posted clarifying in several places. Two of our works with zero adult are shadowbanned, so you tell me why. I'm not the reason itch is getting hate. I'm not ruining itch for the indie scene. Even if they ~only~ banned nsfw they'd deserve all this hate and more.

A lot of hate they entirely deserve for this monumental fuckup. It is only 'fair' for itch to provide reasonable advance notice to creators on changes this big, and not withhold funds from them based on rules that they were given no notice of. They are not being 'fair'. Stop being gross.
