Again, if Psaki "attacked religion" and "diminished the faith" of millions of Americans, so too did all the faith leaders who have also criticized "thoughts and prayers" rhetoric. As a factual matter, Johnson's framing here — which, again, shows up roughly annually — doesn't match reality.

You know what, at this point, I agree with Speaker Johnson that the problem is the human heart: the obvious lack of heart by our law makers to enact policies to effect real change.

Psaki knows that God told us that faith without action is dead. He will ask us what we did for others through the Corporal Works as well as the Spiritual Works. It breaks my heart when we are blind to that single command” Love God and love others. We cannot do one alone.
