FYI: I'm at the National Conservatism conference this week. The religious references are, of course, a constant. But worth noting that one of the opening talks was a leader from the Edmund Burke society pleading with attendees not to fight with each other — and not to fall prey to antisemitism.

Is it a conference for conservatives? Or for people who study conservatives?

The former. It's a whole thing: by NatCon's own admission (i.e., its own leaders in opening talks), it's a gathering that was pretty recently considered right-wing fringe, but is now understood to occupy a powerful position on the right.
