Hell, where is Mike Judge?! Let's do Idiocracy 2! Society recovers in the span of only a few generations. (The original cast can come back as great grandparents. They are "so smart" they invent a super-AI to run everything and give it total control. 🤷♂️

People don't talk about the role of the kid from the blockade force enough. It was scathingly accurate modern commentary about the youth, society, 3rd world war/disaster tourism, tons of stuff all rolled into one well acted character. Love that film. Can't wait for the next ones.

That would be a fun explanation for the voice-over and introductory sections from the original - Rita finds it on this channel nobody watches “because it’s pompous & f**y,” they realize it’s a foreign mock/documentary about the U.S., some aspects exaggerated for humor but still largely accurate.

I have a theory that we are slowly poisoning ourselves with plastic and forever chemicals etc like the romans did with their plumbing and wine in lead cups etc OR like the led in the air until the 80s. We are getting sicker. Whose to way we couldn’t get dummer that way!
