Just last week we heard the 🍊🤡 call the tariff chart “liberation day”. Now it was just a ploy? There needs to be a wellness check on this guy. His actions are clearly dementia related.

My question is what does a “pause” mean? Is it a cancellation of the tariffs, or just a short term postponement? No one should really feel reassured here….I don’t understand much about the bond market, but evidently the fact tht it, too, was crashing is wht led 2 this change.
The 10 year bond is how we borrow money (and how the US sells its debt). China buys most of our bonds. When the stock market crashes, people usually run to bonds. That ain’t happening. People were running from stocks AND bonds. And… China isn’t buying out bonds now.

Sadly, millions of American voters r tuned out 2 politics, receiving a little news frm YouTube or social media, mostly lies/propaganda. Our educational system has failed 4 yrs 2 educate children in civics, & bec prices were still high, way too many voted 4 the “other one.” They didn’t choose this.

I don’t think the bond markets have recovered the way stocks did. Have they? Particularly treasury notes?
No. And if China continues selling US debt it’ll get far worse the stock market will follow.
Japan too - they own quite a bit, maybe more than China at this point. A massive sell-off of treasury bills will significantly weaken the dollar. And stocks. And us. Putin couldn't have done a better job if he tried.
