Regrettably it seems like Fain seems more than content to throw his non manufacturing constituency under the bus! Hopefully some upcoming elections lead to him getting ousted by someone from, say, academia
I’m sure the union can find someone to represent the union as a whole who isn’t, like, an actual autoworker! There’s a definite discrepency between demands and constituencies represented under the broad UAW umbrella
