I did it. I canceled Hulu (an on-again, off-again subscriber due to my love of THE BEAR). And I also canceled Spotify Premium Family, which I’ve provided my kids with since 2015, when I was a Starbucks barista and we got it as a CoffeePerk™️

My kids are 22, 23, and 25 and v disappointed (because I’ve covered the cost for so long), but also understand my two reasons: Spotify as a corporation SUCKS for a thousand reasons and I can’t afford it any more. I made sure to include the political support and the AI bullshit in my comments there.

This is not to tell you that you have to cancel your stuff. I had to get a new fb account (ugh) to access the circular economy n my community so I’m trying to reduce harm elsewhere. See also: tight budget.
