Maybe it’s just an error in the wiki entry? I’m not that far into the movie yet. The family is from Houston so the writer knew a little something. But the accents are weird too. Louisiana accents are not Southern accents, and there’s like 300 different ones.

Nope, it says Vierges County on the sign. I wondered if maybe it’s supposed to be across the border in Texas? But they likely just didn’t care about getting it right. Screenwriters need dramaturgs, too.
