I guess I like author Andy Weir…now this is off a limited sample size of his books ‘The Martian’, and 130 pages (so far) of ‘Project Hail Mary’. Seemingly steady-paced, bit science-y, some humor, and my brain’s already cast RyanGosling as main character because internets. NO SPOILERS! #booksky
‘Project Hail Mary’ is the 2nd book of his I’ve opened up and gotten pulled into enough that I surprise myself with the frequency I come back to reading more of it throughout the week. Hell, i read ‘The Martian’ in the evenings over the course of maybe a week?
He's good. He knows his science, he takes his science fiction seriously, and his characters are engaging.
