I agree, but that's also why it's such a problem. Not easy to flip a switch & make things better, tho as we keep discovering, it's pretty easy to make things worse. We didn't just end up in this position. It's been a push toward fascism for decades. People refused to believe it; we r all Cassandra.

We did not “flip a switch”. If you remember, we fought hard to get Joe in the White House. And he did great things. But protecting us from what is happening now was not one of them. Trump has trampled our rights and Joe’s legacy in 5 months.

Didn't get him a decent congress... I'm saying JB couldn't just flip switch and wipe away national context: media environment, judicial capture, uneducated pop, etc. Drop Garland, yup! Kill ICE, yup! But it just isn't so simple to unwind decades of decay and Trump-proof an imperial presidency.
