But golf is awful :( take the opportunity to find a proper hobby! Have you tried rock climbing? Playing card games? Any other sport? I mean not trying to be a dick but golf just feels to me like the most unappealing activity ever. I don’t understand how it even became popular.

Look, I’m not a golfer nor am I dead yet, but – we need to admit that at least the greenery at the golf course and the cemetery is better than asphalt. And yes, I realize there is some water involved in maintaining the greenery — but also involved are a number of trees growing among that grass.
