A good way to know the truth it’s not just to listen to one YouTuber who is clearly a propagandist, but to actually look at where most of the Chinese students who have the most options (money and highest achedemic achievement) prefer to go for their higher education.

We will see how many of the Trump allowed 600,000 enroll. You never know they may all be spies.

Now to be clear, I have watched a few of this Youtuber’s videos and a lot of what he says I agree with, however it is all biased in favor of making China look better than it really is. If you want do business in China, you have to play by their rules and make them look good. They have no free speech

I am not naive, I assume he is paid by the CCP, or the Chamber of Commerce. What surprises me is that most of the people are happy & there is little violent crime. Not sure if the videos are designed to make China look better than it is, or to make the U.S. look worse than it is. Maybe it's both.

I wouldn’t assume that “most people are happy there.” I’ve been to China and while they have incredible infrastructure in terms of high speed rail, it’s not all great and most people don’t seem all that happy if you include average working people. There is terrible pollution for example.

Maybe you did not speak with any of the 800,000,000 lifted out of poverty.

I mean it’s a lot better than starving, sure.
