I think a good chunk of the gentile belief in a “Jewish superiority complex” comes from observing Jews talking with other Jews about Jewish things and noticing how much happier and more relaxed and engaged we are with each other than with non Jews 🤷♀️

I think it’s more due to a misunderstanding of ‘chosenness’
There’s also projection involved. In that they actually DO think they’re superior to us and when we don’t think that they assume that means we think we are superior to them, instead of just that we think superiority is bogus. “If it’s not us then who do you think is superior then eh!?”
it’s all supercessionism. The entirety of antisemitism at least in the modern form is derived from supercessionism. We’re the people that refused to stop thinking that we have the right to exist and they hate that so much
