My Hard Opinion is you cannot call yourself a patriot if you don’t go to your local fair and nod approvingly at everyone’s beautiful quilts, lovely pies and amazing gourds

i did not even know there was a quilt competition at the (next county over, to be fair) fair until this year and i had such a good time. there was an abstract one i would straight up display framed on a wall if i had a wall big enough for it
