unlike the quilts, which i knew in the abstract existed and had competitions, i had never heard of or imagined the table settings in my LIFE. incidentally the quilts were all hung up above the table settings to make full use of the space lol. the good quilt was over the ai sherlock table 😒

wait so did yours not give you the scores. at the orange county fair they had all the grades and our favorite one got no prizes but 10s across the board EXCEPT in correctness and multiple judges' honors, as if to say "you played with convention and are disqualified but we see you and your artistry"
