I live in heavily gerrymandered NC. Once they Rs got into office, it is tough to get them out, even though a judge had the courts draw new maps.

Our crooked R state congress tried to dilute the power of the Governor's office more than once. They tried when Cooper (D) was elected and then again when Stein (D) was elected. They are such hypocrites.

Last term, the R's had a veto blocking majority in NC. They overturned every veto Roy Cooper signed. It's still tight but not veto blocking. We're going to turn this thing around. We're going to elect Cooper to the Senate & a few more Dems to the legislature. Slowly but surely.
