The court had already overruled Colorado from removing him from the ballot - so there would have been no point.

You are aware that your country came within a hair's breadth of being in the same position, right? If Trump had lost, Canada was going to elect their own version of him. When Trump won, he essentially saved your country. For now. Folks have short memories, even Canadians.

Actually the Canadian Press is owned by a lot of Conservative owners and just like in the US they push their agenda...but Poliviere is an idiot and even if he had won... Canadian Parliament can call for a VOTE of Non-Confidence & HE WOULD HAVE BEEN BOOTED OUT this is a big multi-party benefit

That's a nice story but you know that's not how authoritarians operate. Once they win, they start dismantling those guardrails and before you know it, only loyalists remain. I wouldn't wish this on anyone but Canada is not immune to populism. Response may be slow here but we have over 300 million

people that need to be organized. It's happening but we're on our own and it's not easy. We have no government reps to lead us. It's easy to be critical of our slow response but we can use your support, instead of a lecture on why it could never happen in Canada. It can.
