Worked NYC EMS for 34 years. Never had a problem. If you don’t act like a fool and treat everyone with respect, that respect is reciprocated. Act like a schmuck, get treated like one.

Unfortunately true. Manners make the person. I treat everyone equally as the way I would hope to be treated. No need for drama or trauma. Just be a human being. I’m no better than anyone else. And we are all trying to survive. Life is too short.
