Of all the blocklists I'm on, the 'anti-UBI' one is by far the funniest, I mean, that guy must spend more time adding people to it than he does talking about UBI!

I am blocked by twlldun for suggesting that Lucy Letby may not have had a fair trial and could be innocent. Don't quite know why he went so deep down that rabbit hole, but there we are. Also not sure why he is quite so prominent in left-lib UK social media, beyond being quite prolific.

My current estimate is that Letby will be granted leave to appeal late this year or in the first half of next, and that appeal and verdict will take another 18-24 months. As with the Birmingham Six, many people will suddenly discover that they always had their doubts about the original trial.

I think people can in good faith read in detail about Letby and think 'she might be guilty'. I don't think anyone can do that and think 'yes, the English legal system has an adequate set of procedures for commissioning and assessing expert scientific and medical evidence'.

I just got added to a list called Twee centrists, melts and Labour hacks. Presumably after I said that while I wouldn't really want those who vandalised the Policy Exchange office criminally prosecuted or anything, I would make them scrub it all off and pay for the sponges.
