I agree, and have been screaming about our lil nazi cabal since 2002. My point is: the language we use paints a second layer of beliefs over our worldviews, and the more people engage in fatalism the more likely they will get their feared outcome. There's a very good chance that we will survive.
Some of us will survive. That’s kind of the problem here tho- now it’s only “some” of US will survive. We shouldn’t have to survive a presidency.
