I don’t want 2 mislead U. There R other ways and means to see God & go to heaven without being a Christian and/or going to church. In the Bible, New Testament, it says people will see God in NATURE! God sees U back & loves you immediately. God is so faceted because he’s everything to everyone!

Certainly they do, but my understanding is that Buddhism is monistic, while Christianity is dualist. I tend to think that puts Christianity slightly higher on the bullshitometer.

Buddhism is a philosophy not a religion! There is no deity! The premise is that all living beings are precious! That we reap what we sow! In order to ascend to a higher level of consciousness you need to look inward to yourself!

I apologize. Buddhism is spiritual! That’s the common denominator I meant. What I am trying 2 say. It doesn’t matter what we each all believe or practice. Our individual beliefs/practices should all bring awareness of all living things & remind us how precious life is & the need to respect all life!

13 yrs ago, my friend, who worked for the hyatt, took me on a little veecation in a hyatt cottage in carmel. we met a "travelling beekeeper" in the lounge, who took his bees from place to place to pollinate, bx so few bees around to do it naturally.!! amazing, aint it>?

Yes, exactly. I taught religion. Do U know everyone has a creation story similar 2 the Bible story? Why is that? Native Americans, India, Japanese etc all have similar creation stories! It doesn’t matter what or who U R, it’s how U live as a person & the morals U follow! That’s the ticket 2 God!

When I sit in his presence in prayer with all my fears, anxiety & hope, I can feel his spirit. I also go 2 mass, I come out, & I feel renewed & strong. It took God 60 years to answer 1 of my prayers. It’s always on God’s time & not mine! That’s when I become frustrated with God & want 2 give up.
