Sorry if my comment came off in a way that suggested that you personally don’t support trans rights. Most Democrats and many others support trans rights and show love to our community. This is the reason it is so easy for a candidate to support trans rights and still get the votes they need.
You all have every right to be skittish, and sounding the alarm. One party has declared war on you for simply being who you are, and the other party, with notable exceptions, has not stood up for you adequately, if at all.
This is a big reason why I am running for public office now. Be the change you want to be in the world, or some nonsense like that.
