The absence of Mirage here is a shame (yes I'm falling for it) in part because Mirage set the stage for block structure right and the world building was On Point.

Invasion for me imo. Ravnica honestly didn’t push the needle as much as invasion did. I honestly think many people answered this poll as “most broken/powerful” set because Legends, Ikoria and Mirrodin are in the 11-20 places.

Yoooo, agree with that take! Mirage definitely should be top 5. Block structure, big improvements in storytelling and cohesion, a welcome departure from western medieval fantasy, the cards are actually fun to play with, and also, not for nothing, the art in this set is unbelievable.
